Applications
The concrete surface must be clean, solid, free of grease, cement dust and other adhesive impurities. Apply a layer of Latex joint slurry with a thickness of 1-2 mm onto the pre-wetted surface and pour new concrete or apply mortar immediately while the joint layer is still wet.
Safety Notes
Application and limitations of Sika Latex TH: Never use a mixture of Sika Latex and water as a bonding agent without adding cement. If the weather is warm or windy, normal maintenance measures must be taken to prevent the mortar from drying too early. Always saturate the absorbent surface but do not let water stagnate. If applying multiple layers, the previous layer must be applied while it is still wet. In case of use for structures that are always wet (water tanks, swimming pools...), the Latex mortar layer 1 must be allowed to dry a week before putting the structure into use or the structure should be permanently submerged in water. Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after construction.
